We want your stories! If you have a child with autism or have been touched in some way by a child with Autism please read on. There are an abundant amount of books out there having to do with Autism, whether they are informational resources, "how to" guides, or someone's story. My goal in writing this book is 2 fold. For one I think it is important to show a side of Autism that is hardly if ever portrayed, and two, to maintain public awareness by teaching people how children with Autism think. When raising children with Autism, there is a daily struggle to teach them everything about the world so they can then function as independently as possible. This entails the teacher, who can take on many titles, parent, grandparent, sibling, ot, pt, speech, teachers, doctors etc… to have to go into their world and get inside their minds to try to present things in a way that they can absorb and then relate it to the real world. This is much easier said then done. Click the FAQ'S tab above for more info.

In case you don't know what The Funny Side of Autism is, it is a book in the making.
It is through the funny moments that we can truly see their very literal interpretations of the world around them. It is also these moments that fuel us to go on.
